Resurrection Day
I thought it was about time to start writing in the so called blog of mine, it's been...7 months since I last wrote anything here, and that was about Portishead's last album, which has been and gone now.
Anyway, the summer holidays have been and gone, and were mostly uneventful. Honestly apart from surfing and photography it was mostly just programming and development.
This site is hitting version 5, more sober and light than ever, in fact so light the javascript is six times the size of anything else, but I'm working on that ;)
Photos now come directly from [Flickr][1], as they have one of the best API's around, and a huge community of active users. If I ever start posting videos, I'll be using [Vimeo][2], for exactly the same reasons.
I've also been working on the workspace (link on the right) to store and manage my academic projects and general snippets and lines of code, it comes with wonderful syntax colouring thanks to [Geshi][3], user management and mass download, but as of yet isn't finished.
The main project, the Reactive Systems Simulator is on hold right now, what with lessons and university work, but if you're interested or you want to know what it is, take a look at the [project page][4]
Here's hoping it doesn't take me too long to write more!
